Happy New Year:2017

Happy New Year from our little family to yours! Wow...Wow...and lot's more Wow for this past year!!! This dream of owning my own business started before my daughter was born 6 years ago, and honestly the the love of taking pictures started years ago! My grandparents bought me my first "real" camera for my graduation gift (which I still have) and from them on I have always had a camera by side. 8 years ago my husband bought my first DSLR camera and I did my first session in Siesta Key Florida for my new baby nephew and the family. After our daughter was born almost 6 years ago I knew this was something I wanted to do to be able to stay at home with my kids full time. That dream became a reality and when my daughter was about 6 months old I was able to quit my part time job and do photography full time. Now 6 years later I am so blessed by this business and this year the last piece of my dream came true...I now have a studio!!!! (Which also happens to be my husbands ping pong mancave:) I never in my wildest dreams thought I would have my own studio and have such an amazing set of clients who have become such great friends!  

When I started this dream we had just one child, since then we have added 2 more and plenty of animals to our little family:) 3 kids + homeschooling + EVERYTHING else = CRAZINESS. So this year I have to stay a little more orgainzed with scheduling and really set a limit and keep it! I am already booked for my amount of weddings this year...which is amazing! I will setting up one Saturday a month (possible 2 depending on the month) and only a few evenings. My kids are still little and I don't want to miss anything with them, this past summer/fall...I feel like I wasn't the best mom so this year I intend to not make that mistake again. Thank you to everyone who has made this year happen!

Happy New Year!!!

This year has just flown by! This was by far my busiest and best year with my business. I am so blessed to be able to have a part time job that I love that still allows me to stay home and raise my kiddos. This year my husband and I added a new member to our family, Mr. Tucker James was born this past July and is absolutely perfect!! 

 I had a few goals this past fall and winter so I crammed as many sessions into my schedule as possible, and although I passed my goals, I also realized that it was just a little too much for me with the three kiddos.

•   This year I am setting up a new schedule and I am going to try and stick with it! I will only be scheduling 1-2 Saturdays a month and just a few evenings a month as well. So I am going to have a "booking blitz party" this next week. If there is a certain month that you are interested in, you can message me your name and I will write you down and then when that month approaches we will set an actually date and time. This is an easy way for me to plan out a few months ahead and not try to cram so many in at once.

• This year I have decided to add weddings back into my scheduling. It was something that my husband and I felt was a little too much a few years ago. I have done a few for friends but nothing serious. So this year I decided to start adding them back into my schedule. I will only be scheduling a few this year so if there is any interest please let me know as soon as possible.

Christmas Mini Sessions

Holy Cow!!! I have been so incredibly busy the past 3 months! The busiest I have ever been, plus we added a new addition to our family this summer so it has been triple the business! I haven't posted a lot, but I had to post some of the CHRISTmas mini sessions I have done the past few weeks. I think in total I have done over 18 in a few weeks, so I am ready for a little down time;) 

Miss Elliot

Miss Elliot kind of scared me a little at first:) She was wide awake and was not letting us take too many pictures at first. But then after eating and momma swaddling her she fell right to sleep and pretty much let me put her in any position! And she was gorgeous which made my job pretty easy:) Congrats Brock and Sarah..she is such a keeper!

She looks soo much like her two big brothers here!!

Sarah...seriously?!!! How can you look so good after just having a baby...not to mention your third one! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Mr. Casyn is ONE!

I cannot believe that Mr. Casyn is one already!!! It just seems like yesterday that we were taking his newborn pictures!!! We had a great session and also had wonderful weather!!

Meet Mr. Beau

Meet my newest cousin...Beau. Beau is truly a miracle baby!!! This little boy was very sick and in NICU for quite a while...but he is definitely a fighter and we are so happy that he is back home with his mom, dad and proud big sister! I had the greatest honor of taking baby Beau's newborn pictures. It's sessions like these that make my job the best!!! Thanks Amanda and Cork for letting me capture some beautiful memories of your two precious babies!!!
